These terms apply to every order placed on vanlife-outfitters.com. Please read them before you order.
1. About us

2. Independence from vehicle manufacturers
We are an independent supplier. We are not Ford, Mercedes-Benz or Volkswagen and we are not appointed or approved by them. Transit, Sprinter, Crafter and Transporter are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe which vans our kits fit.
3. Your order
When you place an order you receive an email acknowledging it. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm dispatch, or confirm a fitting booking. We may decline an order if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot confirm a van specific kit fits the van you have given us. If we decline, we refund you in full.
4. Fit and installation
Van specific kits are made for the model, wheelbase and roof height stated on the listing. You are responsible for giving us the right details. Installation should follow the instructions supplied. Mains voltage circuits should be installed and tested by a qualified electrician, and fuel burning heaters must be installed with a carbon monoxide alarm.
5. Weight and legality
A conversion adds weight. You are responsible for keeping the van within its maximum permitted weight and axle loads, for telling your insurer about the conversion, and for making sure the van remains roadworthy.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where it applies. If you shop in another currency, the price is converted at the rate shown at checkout. Delivery is charged by weight and shown before you pay. International orders may be subject to import duty and local taxes, which you pay on delivery.
7. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates. The goods are your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave. Some items ship within the UK only, as set out on our Delivery page.
8. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
Your rights to cancel and return are set out on our Returns and Refunds page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Fitting services
Fitting is carried out at Unit 1 Main Road, Tydd Gote, Wisbech PE13 5QD. You must bring the van at the booked time, empty of personal belongings in the areas we are working on. If we find further work is needed, we will not carry it out without your agreement.
10. Trade customers
If you buy in the course of a business, the consumer cancellation rights do not apply, and our liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use of a vehicle or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent the law allows.
11. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
